Food and Tooth Fairy

Well little boo boo is now 6 months old and it's time to start eating like a big girl!  I'm much of a researcher when it comes to things for Hadley, who would have thought I would research!  As I posted before, we went with Happy Baby Food, so I stocked up on each Stage 1 flavor they had:  green beans, winter squash, pears, mango, & carrots.  I also made some avocado Friday night mixing breast milk in it to make the texture easier for her to digest.  Trying to find the time to feed her was a small challenge as we wanted her alert and happy, which was a slight challenge as she's been fussy because of teething.  We gave her carrots for the first time and we were both surprised at how easy she ate.  Initially she had that strange look on her face, however quickly began to lung at the spoon wanting more.  We know she ate some, as evidence by her diapers last night!

Not only are we starting solids this week, but Hadley also started teething last week.  Thank you to my dear friends who all have babies, we learned the magic of Hylands Teething Tablets and these have saved us thus far.  We also are giving her Tylenol right before bed to help her sleep as she has been waking up in the middle of the night in pain.  She has been eating less and trying to get that bottle in her mouth has been a fight.  We can feel the bottom left tooth that feels like it's about to make it's debut, but apparently they have a time of their own.  We are waiting on the Tooth Fairy to arrive!!!
