Santa Barbara Babymoon

Last week Mason and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary, while at the same time celebrating a little baby moon before the holidays and baby girls arrival the beginning of the year.  I have been talking/begging for months about wanting to go to the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, well prayers do come true :)  This place was beyond beautiful, had views of the California coast, and Spanish style villas were just fabulous!  

Little H stayed home, for the first time w/o us, with Abuela (Mason's mom) and boy oh boy did she give her a run for her money.  It was very nice to go out to dinner w/o having to make sure someone wasn't jumping out of her chair, we got to stay out past 7pm two nights in a row and didn't have to be home by 1pm for nap time.  Well, that's a little lie because we did nap both afternoons :)  

We went to The Lark in downtown Santa Barbara, McConnell's Ice Cream (both nights), Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant, got room service for breakfast (which I'd never had before), walked on the beach, and enjoyed complimentary wine tasting!  Mason enjoyed having a pregnant wife who could go get him some extra tastings!  I would totally recommend everything we did there, ate and would return to the resort in a heart beat if someone wants to plan a trip...wink wink!  Let me know when you want to go, because I'll be all over it!
