W.I.R.E

W.I.R.E-Weekend in review for our last week in September and the start of fall!  More photos than exciting talk!  Started again doing MOPS on Friday, fun playdate with Hadley's new friend Adelynn at the Rose Garden. (*sigh*)  Oh one day I hope to be walking around a neighborhood saying that I live in that house.  Saturday Hadley had another fun day at The Little Gym, bouncing on the jumpy trampoline and hanging like a monkey.

We had a fabulous! evening at Serena and Rich's wedding in Palo Alto!  Probably the most gorgeous wedding I have every been to!  Flowers in mason jars, cocktails with adorable straws, anthropology flower vases, beautiful flowers, gold chiavari chairs, hanging lights from the trees, amazing food and adorable desert table, oh I could go on!    Oh yes, not to forget, Mason wore a Vineyard Vines bow tie!  So handsome and he fit in with a lot of the men there who all had bow ties on also!

I woke up this morning finding Mason and Hadley sitting on the couch together already watching NFL football and working on "their" fantasy football team.  Well sadly, its back to the grind tomorrow!

MOPS & More

This past week I got a little taste of what a stay at home mom does since I had off Wednesday, Friday and the whole weekend!  I must say, it was something I could possibly get used to!  I joined Las Madres last weekend and we already went to our first play date outing!

Wednesday we went to Music and Movement class at the Rose Garden Library, which she loved!  She played with scarves, wooden sticks, bells and met a new friend Adelynn!  Thursday she went to another baby music and reading class at the Santa Clara Library with daddy.  Friday was the first kick off meeting for MOPS, which is held at our church!  I met lots of new moms and Hadley had so much fun playing she fell asleep in the car!  It's always nice when you pick her up and she's playing with other babies her age!   There are lots of fun things planned this fall with MOPS including days at the Pumpkin Patch, Professional Photography session fundraiser, visit to the Monarch Butterfly Grove in Santa Cruz and the list goes on.

Saturday we decided to do a free trial at the Little Gym since she is now scooting/army crawling all over the house.  The class was for babies 10mo-19mo so was a little above her age limit, however they adapted it to her and she loved it!  It was hard to get pictures of her playing because she wouldnt stop moving.  She wants to be a gymnast like mommy, she told me that :)  We will definitely return, especially since we have a Groupon for 3 more classes.  Enjoy the photos, plus the random Georgia and Hadley picture at the end.
