Trick-or-Treating & 9mo.

Our first Halloween experience was a success!  Although we did not make it out to trick or treat, we sure used that duck costume quiet at bit!  Hadley and Mason had a morning out together on Tuesday where they met Elmo and Belle at Santana Row.  Mary also came to visit Wednesday night and we got to bridesmaid dress shopping, which Hadley enjoyed looking at herself in all the mirrors and talking to her new "friend."

Yesterday we took professional pictures, supporting our friend's husband Davin Pattison, and here are a few sneak peak photos from the session.  We took the photos in the Rose Garden in San Jose, which apparently is the hot spot to take photos.  We were one of many taking pictures at that time.  The purpose of these photos are for our Christmas card, that's why H is wearing green and red.

Friday was also Hadley's 9mo birthday, so here are some things she LOVES!
  • She thinks Georgia is hilarious, especially when she 'speaks' or chases her toys down the hallway.  Georgia isn't so fond of her pulling on her hair and crawling over her like a speed bump, but she puts up with it.
  • Hadley is a picky eater and has figured out when we feed her from the pouch vs. when we feed her from a bowl.  The food from a bowl is food that mommy/daddy made and she puts her hands over her face and whines!  No need for me to cook I guess :)  She loves baby Mum Mums and Annie's cheddar bunnies for snacks.
  • She is still not crawling on all 4s yet, however can really make a get away doing her normal army crawl.  She pulls herself up to standing on anything, especially her crib, however does not know how to sit back down so will just fall or cry till you come move her.
  • Her favorite toy is the four farm animal balls from one of her ball spinners.  She prefers to bang them together rather than put them in the toy.  She also loves the homemade toy Mason made with a empty water bottle and some beans inside.  Oh! and how can I forget, she LOVES our iPhone even though there is nothing on the screen.  We play music through it when we feed her and it really attracts her attention.
  • Hadley likes to pull up on the drawers in the kitchen and play with the oreo wrappers.  Free entertainment for a couple of minutes!  And when the fridge opens next to it...oh it's a whole new place to play!
  • She's not very fond of bath time, although she sits all by herself now.  She hates water in her face, which will make for fun swim lessons this coming summer.
  • She has 6 teeth!  Four on top and 2 on the bottom.
  • She also started talking saying "mama mama mama" and "baba baba baba" of course I will take all the credit she is talking to me, but she's constantly saying those 2 things.
