16 Months and Growing

Long time no see!  Sorry for the huge lapse in time since I've posted on here.  We had a super busy May with something going on every weekend.  I went to Nebraska to visit John and Mason has gone on his annual guys trip to Cabo!  Now we are all back together, but anxiously waiting on our BIG trip to Southern California where we will go to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and visit the beach for the first time with Hadley!

We have officially met the "toddler years" and boy, oh boy has Hadley started to show her personality.  It's always fun to look back at these milestones so here we go...

• H will throw a fit if she does not get what she wants, usually that's the iPad or car keys (because she likes to press the panic button).
• She still naps twice a day (9-11 & 2-4).  This girl LOVES her naps!!!  She plays hard and sleeps hard.  We are beyond thankful for a good sleeper!
• She loves being outside, playing at the playground, riding her tricycle, climbing and watching other kids her age play.  We are looking into toddler half day programs for her once she drops that morning nap because she just loves other kids!  
• Favorite toys are her Little People Princesses, (which typically end up in the trunk of her tricycle or in her refrigerator play set).  She also loves her play kitchen set, books, looking at herself in the mirror, and bath time.  
• Food...oh jeez!  This girl could live off of yogurt, milk and goldfish.  I swear that's practically all she eats.  She continues to be a picky eater and will feed Georgia any food she does not want.  We have regressed in our eating some, she no longer wants any fruit or cheese sticks.  
• She loves dogs! Weather we are seeing dogs out on our walks, seeing them on TV or magazines they always bring a lot of excitement.  She calls them "dags."  That's the only word she has now other than momma/dadda.
