Christmas 2016

Before we kick off this birthday week/weekend and since it's been forever since I've been on here, I thought now would be a good time to post my Christmas photos.  We had a great first Christmas in our new house!  Decorated the house, followed the Willow Glen tradition with our tree in the front yard and drove around the neighborhood to see the lights in early December.  Hadley was soooooo into the lights this year and she loved Santa.  She actually decided about a week before Christmas that she didn't like Santa because "He doesn't bring me gifts, only the mailman brings me gifts!"  Whoops I guess now I know to not order so many things online for the girls because she knew there were toys in those boxes for her.

Sloane was more into opening the presents, taking out the tissue out of the presents and redecorating our tree.  It was obvious that we had a little crawler on our hands as all our lights and ornaments were only on the top part of the tree where Hadley could reach them.  We went to story time with Mrs. Claus at Hicklebees with Hadley's new best friends/neighbors and visited Santa and Mrs. Claus in the freezing cold the few days before Christmas.  This girl was so excited about Santa, we saw him about 4 times total the month of December.  The very first time, Santa got down on the floor with Sloane so she could crawl and sit on the floor next to him.  It was so heart warming how much both of them loved jolly old Saint Nick!

The girls got some really great presents this year from Santa.  Sloane got a Wheely Bug Pig, foam blocks and some plastic animals.  Hadley is sooo into playing teacher and she got an easel "just like my teachers," she also got a doll house for her Calico Critters and an Elsa dress.  We had such a great holiday and right after it was over Hadley said "Now it's time for my birthday."  She knew both her and Sloane's birthday was after "Santa comes." Let's just say, the whole month of January we have been talking about their penguin party.  Well...off to finish this penguin party/first birthday/fourth birthday playing.  Stay tuned for birthday photos!
