This weekend Northern California had record breaking temperatures and of course our sweet little duplex doesn't have AC so we became creative and utilized our resources to help keep cool. We went over to Mason's moms house in San Jose, who has AC and camped out over there for about 5 hours. When we got home around 6:30 the thermostat in our house read 99 degrees! So today we tried to raid every Home Depot in town for portable units but employees kept laughing at us because they sold out on Friday. We were stuck with large fans and a blow up baby pool to help us survive the heat safely.
Needless to say we all enjoyed the pool although the water was a little chilly. Even Georgia got in the water which we don't see very often from her, even though that's the golden retriever instinct. The heat will continue through the 4th of July so we will continue bargaining for cool places to hang out. Of course next weekend is supposed to be in the low 80s...ah!
As you can see we lived in our little monogram bloomers and a bow nearly all weekend, even on our evening walks with Georgia. And sometimes just went all naked.
