This week was a epic week as I said goodbye to my close friend Medela Pump-in-Style, aka Hadley's milk supply for eight and a half months! Yep, I'm including the half in that because those last two weeks were rough. As many of you read in my
earlier post about my milk donation and over supply I exclusively pumped and decided to retire my friend so I can spend more time with my VERY active almost 9 month old! Although this was a very hard decision to make, I am comforted to know that I still have a freezer full of milk that will last us through December. Now...if we run out of milk and need to use formula, I may be an emotional wreck! Yep, I'm very sensitive about my milk, but I also know that I'm still being a great mom!
My friend Medela sat on the side table by our couch all week and I refused to put away the bottles until this morning! I think all the bottles,
Boon grass and my pump would still be sitting there if we werent having friends over tomorrow for the football game! Now onto our next task in parenthood, trying to get Hadley to eat more people food, textures and drink from a sippy cup! Advice welcomed!
I'll have a post later about the BIG game tomorrow! Clemson vs. FSU/Number 3 vs. Number 5!!! Go Tigers!
