Pumpkin Patching

We have been anxiously awaiting the start of October in this house!  It's the start of fall, we're now socially allowed to decorate for Halloween (although I started a few weeks ago), our anniversary month, and Hadley's first Halloween.

Hadley had some firsts this week, as she pulled to standing at her toy basket and learned to walk in her new walker!  She also sat in the big girl bath for the first time and thought it was the best thing ever!  She now splashes with her hands and likes to lay back and make "water angels" then roll over to swim her way upstream!  Little does she know this photo of her in the bathtub will likely be seen again in her senior slide show for her high school graduation!  Nothing like a good black mail picture when she doesnt show up for her curfew when she's 16yo.

We went to Spina Farms in South San Jose Saturday for our first pumpkin patching experience and I must say it was so much fun!  It always drove me nuts when people would say when I was pregnant "oh you wont have anymore fun once you have a baby bc you cant go anywhere."  I will now say, this is the fun that I have looked forward to and continue to get excited about!  Hadley wasnt quiet sure about the large orange/white/bumpy things we kept sitting her own, nor did she care for the hay all over the ground that we made her stand on!  Needless to say we got some cute pictures and cant wait to find another patch to visit later this month!

To conclude our fun weekend, I took to pintrest and made some super duper cute Halloween cards for our family and friends!  I originally wanted to do candy corn feet prints, but the girl DOES.NOT.STOP.MOVING, so I went with what was easy and just did white ghosts!  We both were wearing white all over us by the time all was said and done!  Some of the cards it looks like she has 8 toes and some she has none, but what the heck!

Off to another week of work, but then we have more fun to look forward to this weekend with pet therapy and H's first photo shoot at MOPS!
