Cows House Weekend

I have been away from my blog for long enough for Mason to say "when are you going to put something on your blog again?"  Seems like he's just as invested in my blog as I am.  I haven't been on in a while because we haven't really done anything exciting enough to share.  But this weekend we began the birthday fun, well kinda.  We had a first birthday photo shoot with Cassie Green Photography who I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!  She was amazing with Hadley and was so helpful even with changing her clothes and letting us strip her down to her diaper for some shots!  Oh she was great!  We took pictures at Emma Prusch Park in San Jose, which has one of the largest barns still standing in California!  I really hope we got some cute pictures, but it's so hard because she's so active and was so curious about the chickens and cows.  Of course when we came home, we sat her on the porch and both Hadley and Georgia took such a wonderful picture!  Go figure!

Geez this is a lot of presents, but lets just say if you are having a baby or a birthday in or around the month of February, there is a good chance one of these cute gifts are yours!  Of course our 36 inch balloon is still floating so it was another excuse to get another photo with it!  I also just love the wrapping paper, which is from Target!

Hadley's sweet friend Adelynn is out of town, so our normal Friday play date was at the Children's Museum in San Jose.  Nobody told me that there was a water table and to bring a spare set of clothes!  We do not let Hadley play in Georgia's water bowl at home so of course she thought this water table was amazing not to mention it had balls to place in the fountain and water tunnel!  We were both soaked by the end of our visit, but she kept turning around to walk back to the water table on our way out.  She of course still loves to play with balls and can keep up with the boys.  Playing with those boys taught me that we need a little bit more socialization because she doesn't share very well :)  We definitely will be returning to the museum when it's a little more quieter.  FYI...for Bay Area parents, they don't allow school groups on Tuesdays.

I'm excited about this coming weekend with her first birthday, super bowl and waiting on the arrival of Hadley's new little friend and her first Valentine, Easton Leon Hernandez!!!  Come on baby Easton you are a little late!  I will be posting birthday pictures next weekend...until then!  XOXO
